Lottery Singapore is one of the many popular pastimes for Singaporeans. It is often a part of their daily routine, as they spend money on the tickets for different games and hope to win big prizes with a small bet. However, what is known is that most lottery winners appear to be hedonically indifferent to their financial windfalls and do not enjoy life more than others, despite their financial gain (Kim and Koh, 2021).

It is the only operator legally allowed to run lotteries in Singapore, and is a subsidiary of the Tote Board.

Those who are interested in a chance to win a lottery prize can purchase a ticket from any of the over 170 outlets island-wide. Each ticket costs S$1, and players can choose from 23 sets of winning numbers for 4D, or six and an additional number to enter the TOTO lottery. The draws for these lotteries take place every Monday and Thursday at 6.30 pm SG time. They can also be watched live at the Singapore Pools Main Branch at 210 Middle Road.
